01Scope of this policy

This policy explains how Holter Diary handles information when you use the app. Holter Diary is an offline health diary that helps you record information during a Holter monitoring session and create a report you can choose to share. It is designed to process your diary on your device.

02Information stored on your device

The app stores the information you enter:

• optional patient, clinic, doctor, and monitor details;
• session dates and times;
• symptoms, activities, triggers, severity, duration, and heart-rate readings;
• device issues and notes;
• reminder choices and app settings; and
• generated PDF reports.

This information stays in the app's private storage on your device until it is deleted as described below.

03Health and other sensitive information

Diary entries and reports may reveal health information. Names and other identifying details are optional. Enter only the information needed for your monitoring diary, protect access to your device, and check a report before sharing it.

04How the app uses information

Holter Diary uses information locally to:

• create and manage monitoring sessions;
• organize diary entries and show session history;
• schedule an optional expected-end reminder; and
• generate a PDF report.

The app does not use your information for advertising, profiling, automated decisions, or training artificial-intelligence models.

05No account, cloud collection, or tracking

Holter Diary has no account or sign-in. The app publisher does not receive your diary, reports, identifiers, or usage activity through the app. The app does not upload or sell data, initiate network requests, or use advertising, analytics, remote crash reporting, location tracking, push-token registration, or cross-app tracking. It works without an internet connection.

Over-the-air application update checks are disabled. Your operating-system provider, device maker, or app store may process technical information independently when you use the device or obtain an app update. Their privacy policies govern that processing.

06Notifications

If you turn on an expected-end reminder, the app asks for notification permission and schedules the reminder on your device. Reminder details are not sent to a Holter Diary server, and the app does not request a push-notification token. Reminders are optional and can be turned off in the app or in device settings.

07PDF reports and sharing

A report stays in private app storage unless you choose Share PDF and confirm the privacy notice. Your device then displays its share options. The copy is sent only to the destination you select, such as a healthcare provider, email app, messaging app, cloud drive, printer, or file location. Review the recipient and destination carefully because a report can contain sensitive health information.

08Third parties and healthcare providers

Once you share or save a report outside Holter Diary, the selected service or recipient controls that copy under its own privacy and security practices. Holter Diary cannot access, change, recall, or delete external copies.

A clinic, hospital, clinician, app store, device maker, operating-system provider, or sharing service may process information independently. Their privacy notices apply to that processing. If a healthcare organization asked you to use Holter Diary, ask that organization how it handles a report or other information you provide to it.

09Keeping and deleting data

Diary data remains on your device until you delete the session, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app. Deleting a session removes its diary entries and app-managed PDF. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes app-managed information, subject to how your operating system completes deletion. Copies already shared, printed, or saved elsewhere must be deleted from each destination separately.

Holter Diary does not set a server-side retention period because it does not receive your diary. You control on-device retention and should follow any record-retention instructions from your healthcare provider.

10Security and backups

The app uses private platform storage and covers diary content in app-switcher previews. Android app backup is disabled. On iOS, app-managed documents are excluded from backup, use platform data protection, and are not exposed through direct document sharing.

No safeguard can guarantee absolute security. Use a strong device passcode, keep the operating system updated, and limit who can use the device. When sharing a report, use a destination and method you trust.

11Device loss and recovery

Because Holter Diary has no account or cloud sync, the publisher cannot retrieve or restore your diary if the device is lost, damaged, reset, or replaced, or if app data is removed. Keep any report you need in a secure location approved by you or your healthcare provider.

12Your choices and privacy rights

You decide what optional information to enter, whether to enable reminders, and whether and where to share a report. You can view, edit, or delete diary information in the app. Because the publisher does not receive your diary, it cannot access, correct, export, or delete that on-device data for you.

You may have privacy rights for copies held by a healthcare provider or another recipient, including rights to request access, correction, or deletion, depending on applicable law. Contact that organization directly to exercise those rights.

13Children and dependent users

Holter Diary is not directed to children for independent use. A parent, guardian, or authorized caregiver should supervise its use for a child or a person who cannot manage their own health information, follow the healthcare provider's instructions, and use only information they are authorized to handle.

14Medical care

Holter Diary is a recording tool, not a monitoring service or emergency service. No clinician or app publisher watches entries, and recording information does not send it to a healthcare provider. Follow your clinic's instructions and seek urgent medical help when needed.

15Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the app, its data practices, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will show a new effective date and will be made available with the app or through its official distribution page. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.

16Contact and complaints

For questions about Holter Diary's privacy practices, contact the app publisher using the privacy or support contact shown on the official app-store listing or distribution page. For a report or other information held by a clinic, hospital, or sharing service, contact that organization.

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection or privacy regulator.
